Affordable NCB expiry motorcycle insurance
If you’ve been riding for a few years without making a claim, chances are you’ve built up quite a significant no claims bonus. This helps reduce your insurance premiums at renewal, so it can be devastating when your NCB expires as it essentially takes you back to square one.
At Bikesure, we know that there are many reasons you might have lost your NCB, such as going out of the country, using your friend’s bike or being put on your company’s insurance policy. Having been in the industry for decades, we know that none of these reasons make you a poor rider and therefore accept expired NCB.
Why choose Bikesure for expired NCB insurance?
We’re a group of motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, so we’re aware of the varying needs of motorcyclists. That’s why we offer policies that can be tailored to you, whether you require EU cover, insurance for multiple bikes, or laid-up cover.
We’re also one of very few insurance brokers that accepts an out of date NCB, so give us a call if this applies to you. We also recognise no claims you’ve built on other types of vehicles and offer NCB protection, meaning even if you need to make a claim you’ll still retain your no claims discount.

What does motorcycle NCB mean?
A motorcycle no claims bonus – also known as NCB or a no claims discount – is a reward for safe riding. Essentially, for every year you ride without having to make an insurance claim, you build up your NCB. This will reduce the amount you’ll have to pay on your insurance. In some cases, it can reduce your premiums by up to 70%.
How does my no claims bonus work?
If your policy offers a no claims bonus, you’ll start building it up as soon as you start riding. Once you’ve been riding for a year without making a bike insurance claim, you’ll be rewarded with a no claims discount. This effectively helps reduce your insurance premiums. Your discount increases for every year of claims-free riding.
Can I use car NCB on a motorbike?
Yes, we usually accept any no claims you’ve built on another vehicle. We understand that any time spent on the road will help improve your safety as a motorcyclist.
