The top eight motorcycles you may have missed at Motorcycle Live 2022 with UsernameKate

At Motorcycle Live, we challenged Bikesure ambassador and YouTube star UsernameKate to provide riders with details on the stunning eight bikes we had on our stage at the NEC in Birmingham, featuring some of the biggest brands.

UsernameKate, AKA Kate Ralph, was previously a bike salesperson, so she is the perfect riding enthusiast to provide all of the specifications on the bikes below. Alternatively you can watch Kate explaining everything about these eight special two-wheeled machines in the video below.

1. Lexmoto LXR 125

Lexmoto LXR 125

“We start things off with the Lexmoto, here we have a stunning black and gold LXR 125. It’s learner friendly, learner legal, and you can ride this bike on a CBT. It’s got 12.5 brake horsepower, so it is perfect for somebody who is starting to learn to ride. The bike itself is pretty light at 167kg, and this bike is the most registered sports roader 125 since 2019.”

2. Suzuki GSX-S1000GT

Suzuki GSX-S1000GT

“Moving on, we have a GSX S-1000 GT – for so long we’ve been crying out for a TFTD dash and they delivered it. It’s so easy to read and the connectivity is so good through the Suzuki app. I actually want to own one of these bikes, I found it so easy to ride, so smooth, the quick shifter and auto shifter works like butter, no exaggeration.

“Now I’ve personally ridden this bike, and I can tell you it’s more of a sport than it is a tourer. It’s got 150 brake horsepower and it is an absolute weapon.”

3. Honda Fireblade SP

Honda Fireblade SP

“Onto the Honda Fireblade, but not just any Fireblade. It is a Fireblade SP 30th anniversary, and it is paying homage to the original Fireblade that came out in 1992. It is an absolute weapon, with 215 brake horsepower. It also comes with the 30th anniversary sticker on the tank and the serial number. It is absolutely gorgeous.”

4. Indian FTR 1200

Indian FTR 1200

“We have the Indian FTR 1200 – now this one is in stealth grey and is a special edition bike, with only 150 made in the world. You have the gorgeous V-twin engine, along with the colour scheme and 123 brake horsepower and 120 Newton metres of torque, so it’s going to pull you into next week. I haven’t ridden one, but it’s on my list to take out and review. This bike looks like it would be a heck of a lot of fun.”

5. Super Soco TC-Max

Super Soco TC-Max

“The first electric bike we have on the Bikesure display is the Super Soco TC-Max comparable to a 125cc with a top speed of 60mph and a battery range of 60 miles. You can charge this bike to full charge in around three to four hours. They are great as a little town bike, or as a commuting bike to work, where you can charge it using a three-pin plug. They really are cost-effective and a great motorcycle.”

6. Kawasaki ZX-10RR

Kawasaki ZX-10RR

“The next bike is the Kawasaki ZX-10RR. But this isn’t just any RR – this is an FS3 racing replica Cheshire Moulding motorcycle and it is absolutely stunning. It has 214 brake horsepower. The RR is as close to a racing bike as you will get. This bike has the Akrapovic on and it’s got a lovely carbon effect too. You have integrated winglets on this bike, which actually produce 17% more downforce than last year’s model.”

7. Triumph Bonneville Bobber

Triumph Bonneville Bobber

“Now we go from a sportbike to a classic, beautiful bobber. You’ve got a parallel twin-engine at its heart with an adjustable seat height. Other features about this bike is its classic look, but it has outstanding modern touches such as cruise control and some LCD displays. It’s 1200cc with 77bhp.

8. Ducati Multistrada V4S

Ducati Multistrada V4S

“I haven’t actually thrown my leg over a Ducati Multistrada and certainly not the V4S, so I feel like I need to change that and experience this bike for myself because the ‘tech-spec’ of this bike is super impressive.

“It’s got 1158cc and it has a V4 Gran Turismo engine, making it one of the most powerful adventure bikes on the current market, with 170 brake horsepower and a 22-litre tank, so it has got you covered for long distance.”
