Multi Bike Insurance

Existing customers please call

If you own more than one motorcycle, we can get you a multi-bike insurance quote for a single low price. As a specialist 5 star Defaqto insurance broker, we can tailor your multi-bike insurance around the bikes you own, whether you’re a scooter aficionado, a superbike lover or a collector of classic bikes.

What is multi-bike insurance?

Multi-bike insurance is a simple, effective way to ensure all of your bikes are covered on one policy, no matter the engine size or model. This means all your bikes, from scooters to superbikes, are insured at a competitive price, but you can choose which level of cover you want for each bike. Having just one premium is the most cost-effective way of saving money and ensures you only need to remember one renewal date.

This is particularly handy for riders who use one bike to commute to work and a different model for leisure activities at the weekend, or for those who have been riding for many years and built a collection.

Why choose Bikesure for multi-bike insurance?

When it comes to getting insurance for multiple bikes, many firms offer separate quotes, taking no account of the fact that only one bike can be ridden at a time, or that enthusiasts generally take better care of their bikes.

At Bikesure, we’re different. We have access to an array of specialist motorbike insurance schemes and can build on our in-depth knowledge of all types of motorbikes to offer you a multi-bike insurance policy with a single low premium covering all of your bikes, saving you time and money. The cover can also be tailored to each individual motorcycle on the policy to more accurately reflect how you use them.

What does multi-bike insurance include?

Our tailored cover can include a number of different features depending on your needs. Just some of the benefits include:

  • Genuine multi-bike policies: cover all your bikes for one low premium, whether that’s two bikes, five, twenty, or more
  • Agreed value option for classic, custom and modified motorbikes
  • Great rates for riders with zero no claims bonus
  • Riders with motoring convictions covered
  • Riders with criminal convictions covered
  • All motorbike modifications and customisations covered
  • Easy payment options including direct debit
  • Full range of comprehensive & TPFT multi-bike insurance available
  • Add, remove and swap bikes at any time
  • Mix and match classic and modern bikes and still earn no claims bonus

Will each bike have the same level of cover?

Although many insurance providers for multi-bike policies have a cap of four bikes on one policy, at Bikesure we tailor your insurance to your needs, meaning we can insure a whole fleet of motorcycles on the same policy if necessary!

You can also choose the level of cover you need on each bike. Whether you require fully comprehensive cover on two mopeds and third-party cover on the rest, just let us know and we’d be happy to help.

Can I insure a classic motorcycle on multi-bike insurance?

Simply put, yes. Plus, as specialists in classic motorcycle insurance, we understand you might not use your classic motorcycle as frequently as your daily ride, so we’ll often be able to get you a great deal for your multi-bike policy.

We also have optional agreed-value insurance for classic, modified and custom motorcycles, even when they’re on the same policy as more standard models. An agreed value policy helps ensure you get fairer compensation in the event your bike is written off.

Can I get tailored multi-motorcycle insurance?

When you take out multi-bike insurance from Bikesure, you can be sure it will match your needs.

We offer bespoke multi-bike motorbike insurance, allowing you to choose from a range of optional extras. Each policy comes with £100,000 of free legal cover included, but we also offer optional extras such as personal injury cover, comprehensive breakdown cover and protective clothing and helmet insurance.

As a specialist motorcycle insurance broker, Bikesure can provide a range of optional extras to help personalise your policy.

Can I add additional riders to my multi-bike insurance policy?

Multi-bike policies are different from multi-car insurance policies as usually you can only have one motorcycle on the road at any one time. Some insurers will allow you to add a named rider to your multi-bike policy, but this in turn may increase the cost of your premium.

Is multi-bike insurance expensive?

Insuring multiple motorbikes under one policy often works out cheaper than insuring each motorcycle on separate policies. We offer discounts if you insure multiple bikes with us.

Read our blog to discover 14 ways to save money on the cost of your motorcycle insurance.

How is multi-bike motorcycle insurance calculated?

Multi-bike insurance is usually calculated from the premiums of the lead bike on your policy. This is usually the riskiest or most expensive bike on your policy. The lead bike sets the base price of your policy, while the other bikes are added at an additional cost.

How much would it cost to add a third bike to multi-bike insurance?

This depends on a number of factors, including the type of motorbike you’ve chosen and your history as a rider. For the most part, this will be fairly similar to the costs involved with insuring the bike separately, except you’ll be eligible for multi-bike discounts too!

Our cheapest multi-bike motorcycle insurance rates are only available on the telephone, so make sure you call us on 0330 123 1028 before you buy a policy. Don’t forget to visit our frequently asked questions page (FAQ).

Can I get affordable cover without a no-claims bonus?

And If you have zero no-claims bonus, don’t despair. Whatever the reason for your lack of discount, you can get a quote from us, and we can also offer convicted rider insurance for riders with motoring convictions or criminal convictions.

How can I get more affordable multi-bike motorcycle insurance?

You can save even more money with our great range of discounts, including:

  • Owners club discounts
  • Limited mileage discounts
  • Security discounts
  • Keeping your motorcycle collection in a garage
  • Ownership discounts

What are the benefits of a multi-bike policy?

There are many benefits to multi-bike insurance. The main ones are having all your bikes covered on one policy and the amount of money this saves.

Other benefits include:

  • Knowing your no-claims discount is applied to a single policy, rather than multiple.
  • Changing details on the policy (such as your address) will only require one fee, rather than individual costs for multiple policies.

Multi-bike policies that meet your needs

Who says I’m too young to have more than one bike?

“I’d had four motorbikes since I started riding at the age of 17, but because I’m still only 21 I couldn’t get anyone to give me a multi-bike insurance policy.

Bikesure looked beyond my age and were able to halve my insurance costs by putting all the bikes on one policy.”

Ever fancied borrowing a friend’s or family member’s bike, but been worried that you might not be insured should you have an accident?

With Bikesure’s “ride any bike” insurance, you could add the equivalent of comprehensive insurance to your policy while you ride other people’s bikes – leaving you and the owner safe in the knowledge that you’re covered, whatever happens.

With up to a £10,000 claims limit, accidental damage, third party, fire, and theft cover included, and no need to let us know every time you borrow a new bike, you’ll be free to hop on and hit the road whenever you like.

Agreed Value Insurance

Whatever bike you ride, from a scooter to a cruiser, dirt bike to superbike, you want to know that you can claim back the full value of your bike if it’s written off.

With agreed value insurance from Bikesure, we’ll work with you to agree the true value of your bike when you take out a policy, and make sure that you get that sum back when you need to claim – helping you to fund a replacement bike without leaving you out of pocket.

Helmet and leathers

With a low £50 excess for each claim, insuring your protective kit could save you hundreds following an accident, and claims on your helmet and leathers policy won’t affect your bike no claims bonus.
