Four-time Superbike World Champion, holder of 108 podiums and 59 wins from 219 starts, Isle of Man champion, MBE, endurance race victor, King of The Jungle.
It’s no wonder that Carl Fogarty has now cemented his place as one of the world’s greatest ever bikers, and as a British household name.
Coming from a childhood of riding bikes around his local area, Foggy followed in his father George’s footsteps and made his professional racing debut aged just 14 years old, igniting a career that would last for more than 10 years.
Foggy made his international breakthrough aged just 23 to became Formula 1 TT World Champion, kicking off a hectic decade of on-track glory that featured an endurance win, several Isle of Man victories and his four World Championships – amongst many other accolades.
Carl’s racing career sadly came to a premature end in 2000 following a crash at Phillip Island, but, never one to shy away from a challenge, Foggy has continued to work within motorsport, even heading his own short-lived race team, Foggy Petronas, in 2007.
In recent years, Carl has achieved household-name status, emerging victorious from the hugely-popular reality TV show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! where he appeared alongside celebs Jimmy Bullard and Jake Quickenden.
Foggy has since used his jungle crown to become a regular feature on our screens and in our papers, and is sure to make a popular comeback when the show returns for a new series.
Foggy’s affiliation with Bikesure has been an exciting and successful one over the years, with the champion attending events and photoshoots with us around the country, filming videos, appearing in many of our adverts and even riding with our customers at Bikesure track day events.
Keep an eye out in the weeks, months and years ahead for more from Foggy and Bikesure, and keep checking our blog and your inbox for news of upcoming events and films.
