Video: Carl Fogarty answers the internet’s most searched questions

World superbike legend Carl Fogarty took time out of his busy schedule to answer some of the most searched questions fans have asked about him on Google.

The three times champion spent much of his career with a camera and a telescopic lens pointing in his direction and here he reveals all of the details some fans have been debating for years, such as how tall is Carl Fogarty, where did he meet his wife Michaela, why he didn’t win BBC Sports Personality of the year and reveals never before heard details about his time on I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here.

Fogarty, who won the World Superbike championship three times during his historic career has now been retired from the sport officially for 20 years this year, but also revealed exclusively to Bikesure that he enjoys riding motorcycles more now than he ever did during his career.

Celebrating the start of the third decade since he quit the sport that made him a household name, he has agreed to continue as an ambassador for Bikesure, the bikers’ bike insurance broker.

Fans will also get a chance to meet Fogarty at events up and down the country once the coronavirus lockdown period is over, when life returns to some form of normality as Bikesure business manager Robert Balls states: “Carl Fogarty describes himself as an ordinary guy from Blackburn.

“But he has had a truly extraordinary life and everyone here is delighted and excited that he has agreed to be our brand ambassador once again this year.

“Our clients will get the chance to meet Foggy at a number of Bikesure backed events up and down the country once the coronavirus lockdown is lifted. Watch this space and our social media channels for details.”
