The Bikesure-sponsored Dirt Quake V, at the Adrian Flux Arena on July 15 and 16, is the UK’s annual celebration of alternative dirt-track motorcycle racing, this year featuring superbike legend Carl Fogarty.
A weird and wonderful array of bikes, with many riders in fancy dress, compete around the oval in a series of races including the crazy Inappropriate Road Bike race, plus there’s a chance to see the world famous Wall of Death.
All you need to do to stand a chance of winning the Mutt Metal Mickey 125 is buy a ticket online and you’ll be entered into a prize draw.
The one-off bike, worth £4,000, is based on Mutt’s classic Desert Racer, but with a few special twists. The bike runs Mutt’s classic spoked 18″ wheels shod with 4.00 x 18 Firestone ANS tyres which are just perfect for getting sideways in the dirt.
Mutt’s special US spec handlebars give complete control of this little firecracker and the comfy classic barrel grips make it a pleasure to twist the wick. A chrome megaphone silencer tops off Mutt’s standard stainless steel downpipe to give that healthy rumble you will only hear on a Mutt.
And it’s all topped of with an orange candy flake paint job that crackles in the sun.
