This bike would suite a new biker needing their first bigger bike or a mature person like me who fancies something that looks different. You may even need to fulfill a lifetime ambition like i did!.This bike is close to originaland has been prepared by prize winning Yamaha specialist Wayne Pipe.You will know his name from the many MCN articles. The engine is standard and sounds very sweet.I bought this FZR specifically to try my hand at 1/4 mile straight line sprinting (Westonzoyland)and a track day(Llandow which is very short but tiring). Two challenges at my age and I've thoroughly enjoyed them both.the bike has not been abused because I'm from the old school and high revs are alien to me. This bike does like to be revved!Lots of stainless steel and stickers can be removed but I think they add something and make it look unique.Bike preparation:-- rear sets- new Batalax tyres- new wheel bearings- new chain and sprocket (two teeth more)- new fork seals- powder coated wheels- new clutch cable- carbs cleaned- full service (new Yamaha parts)- 3 d small number plate (legal)- new grips- sporty can25,000 kms so only approx. 16,000 miles from new and has covered only430Kms between Mots. It was first registered UK 01/04/03.I have both keys and all docs. Taxed and MOT April 2011.

Yamaha FZR 400RR Exup. Registered 1994 manufactured 1989, F plate 29343kms (18339mls). 10 months Tax and test. Full stainless Micron pipe, good tyres, good condition considering the bike is over 20 years old! Bike went straight through the MOT in June. The left front fork seal has started to leak?? Available to view evenings or weekends. Bargain at£800!
