 1999 Kawsaki ER5 - Complete with top box and panniers (800GBP)
Here is my 1999 Kawasaki ER5. It has done 34k miles and has MOT until May 2010. It comes complete with top box and panniers, grippy seat cover, an exhaust can from a suzuki (think probably a gsxr) which makes it sound real raspy, and twin headlights. The bike runs really well and has just been serviced by me with oil, oil filter, and air filter all being changed.I bought the bike as my 2nd bike, something that i could tinker about with and also for my mate to ride as he was set to lose his job and his company car. He appears to now be keeping his job and if i am going to have a 2nd bike for ME to ride then this really doesnt give me what i want from a bike with the panniers and top box and style of bike as i ride for fun not for purpose (i.e. commuting).Really looking for another bike as a swap deal to make life easy. Will consider anything really as it is my 2nd bike and i like to try different bikes. Can do a deal with cash either way for the right bike. Just give me a shout and we'll see what i think.

Also has a PRP carbon exhaust (original also provided).Kept on the Optimate in a garage, mostly summer use, some small scratches on the swingarm due to bungee cables, otherwise excellent condition.

This is KAWASAKI ER-5 , 2000 model year and have 36 169 km / 22 605 miles on the clock .The bike is in excellent condition , looks like it just left the showroom .Engine runs first time and every time , rides very well . The bike was purchased in August this year . Was in good mechanical shape ,but could be all around noticed quite a lot of corroded places like the lower fork leg , alternator cover , swinging arm fork ,center stand etc.So , I decided to restore this lovly bike .What have been done with this bike ?VISUAL SIDE 1. Petrol tank and all plastic panels was resprayed . Dark Green – oryginal Kawasaki colour .2. Engine was resprayed . Covers engine( head cover , alternator cover ,etc )was disassembled. Old paint was removed and painted again with aluminium primer and black paint. Fitted again with brand new Kawasaki gaskets .3. Clutch and brake lever, light and indicator switch and and many other parts was painted too .4. Exhaust pipe cleaned of rust and painted again . 5. I have polished radiator covers , handlebar , silencer , other .6. New mirrors .TECHNICAL SIDE1. New spark plugs NGK.2. Valve clearances adjusted . 3. Carburetors cleaned and synchronized .4. New engine oil ( Motul 5100 – 10W40 ) , new oil filter and air filter .5. New coolant .6. New brake fluid + brake service . Brake pads , disc and rear brake shoes are used but in realy good condition. 7. New fork oil . 8. Lubricated clutch, spedo and accelerator cable . 9. New chain and sprockets . 10. New front/rear tyres Continental 11. New battery .BAD POINTS 1. Frame was not resprayed , so you can see few rusty places . However the frame look like very good therefore it is not painted .2. This bike needs a new Road Tax.You are welcome to view the bike in Walton on Thames , KT12 .I can sent more photos by email if you need .I can delivery this bike in all England area .
