Don and Derek Rickman made a range of scramblers and road racers as well as street legal machines from 1960 to 1975. Initially the bikes were sold as frame kits as no engine manufacturers would supply them direct, but as time went on they built bikes around engines from Royal Enfield, Zundapp, Montesa, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. The Rickmans licensed production of the frames to MRD Metisse, who continue to make and supply them.
