Founded by Erling Poppe (designer of Sunbeam motorcycles, and Gilmour Packman, P&P started up in Coventry in 1922. In 1925 Packman was killed, and in 1926 their factory burnt down, but despite this production continued until 1930, when the depression took its toll and the company closed.
