The tickets will give them with a day in the Pit Lane Paddock Suite next to the BRDC and Paddock area, providing great hospitality and atmosphere before, during and after the race.

So why does Battle Quads recommend Bikesure? "They are very good at what they do," says David Elliott. "The pricing is right, so is the service. We recommend them to our customers, many of whom are shopping around, and we get a very good pick-up rate with Bikesure."

Bikesure's dealer scheme pays £30 commission for every insurance sale and the company has numerous schemes to suit all sorts ofbikes and quads, tailoring policies to the individual circumstances of the rider.

Bikesure's tips on cutting the cost of bike insurance

<img src="<%PATH_IMAGE%>news/posts/271-1.jpg" align="right" class="news" />Times are tough. Bikers, along with everyone else, are looking for ways they can make savings. And that even includes the essentials, such as insurance. But how can you reduce the cost without reducing the cover?

Bikesure has just released some money-saving tips for lowering motorcycle insurance costs. The company, one of the UK's biggest specialist bike insurance brokers, says that it still finds occasions where bikers are forgetting to tell them about potential money-saving factors that could slash premiums.

Get a qualification
The biggest saving bikers can make on their insurance is by proving that they have real riding skills and experience, with a qualification such as the Ride Drive scheme. In many cases Bikesure can give an immediate discount of as much as 25%, and for younger bike riders the total saving in the first year alone can often cover the cost of a Ride Drive course.

Not only does a discount continue year after year (provided there's no claim), but it can also be applied to the biker's car insurance.

Join an owners club
Join a club and this could provide an immediate saving. For example, Bikesure gives up to 15% discount to bikers who are current members of a recognised motorcycle or riders club.

And the discount doesn't stop at bikes. Club members can get further discounts on other insurance, such as car, motorhome or home insurance.

Going far?
Bikers can get another immediate discount with a Limited Mileage policy, and the lower the mileage, the bigger the savings. However, keep a watch on the milometer - the broker needs to know if the bike is likely to exceed the agreed mileage limit.

Multi bike?
Bikers with two or more bikes can often get a further discount by insuring both or all under a multi-bike policy.

Extra savings
Meanwhile there are a variety of bonus options that can come free. For example, Bikesure offers legal cover at no extra cost, and can often cover European touring jaunts at no extra cost as well - sometimes for as much as 90 days at a time.

Another way of reducing overall costs is to add breakdown insurance to the policy, instead of joining one of the big national breakdown organisations. For instance, Bikesure's breakdown cover, which includes homestart and roadside assistance, is only £52 for one bike and £10 per additional bike on a multi-bike policy.

Bikesure has a huge range of specialist policies for the motorcycle enthusiast, including cheap bike insurance schemes for performance and custom bikes, scooters, trikes, quads and bug riders. For details freephone the Bikesure quote line on 0800 089 2000 or email the company at bikesure@adrianflux.co.uk.
Bikesure slashes insurance rates in Northern Ireland

<img src="<%PATH_IMAGE%>news/posts/269-1.jpg" align="right" class="news" />Bikesure slashes insurance rates in Northern Ireland

It used to be that insuring a motorbike in Northern Ireland was ludicrously expensive - up to 50% more than in London. But no more. Bike insurance specialist Bikesure is now offering Northern Irish riders what it believes are the cheapest rates yet, many of which are even below the UK average.

"It's taking too long for some insurance providers to catch up with the reality of modern Northern Ireland," says Kevin Lee of Bikesure. "We've been pressing for rates that are appropriate to the risk. Now our underwriters have been able to respond and I have to say they've really gone the extra mile. In some cases premiums have been slashed by 75%."

Just a year ago, a Honda CBR 600 RR for a 26 year-old male mechanic with four years no claims bonus would have cost £582 to insure, for third party fire and theft cover (TPFT). Now Bikesure is offering insurance on the same machine, for the same rider, for just £183.

As well as standard bikes, Bikesure can cover just about any motorcycle in Northern Ireland, from 'twist & go's to performance, tourers and even customised bikes and trikes. For example, a 19 year-old student riding a 50cc scooter, such as an Aprilia Area 51, could pay as little as £137 (for a woman) or £196 (for a man) for TPFT insurance. A female shop owner aged 27 riding a Suzuki GSF 1200 Bandit would pay £105, TPFT. For a Boom Trike, a 46 year-old male optician might pay around £356, fully comp.

"We can now offer motor bikers in Northern Ireland a deal that's just as good as they would get if they lived elsewhere in the UK," Kevin Lee adds. "We expect other mainstream bike insurance providers to follow our lead."

Bikesure offers dealers free VIP tickets to the Moto GP!

<img src="<%PATH_IMAGE%>news/posts/265-1.jpg" align="right" class="news" />Quadbikes wins January competition

Fancy a day out at the British Moto GP this year, all expenses paid? Bikesure is offering the chance for its affiliated dealers to win VIP Pit Lane Suite hospitality tickets for the 2010 event at Silverstone.

Bikesure's dealer scheme is one of the best - not only because it pays well, with £30 commission for every insurance sale, but also because the company has hundreds of exclusive schemes enabling staff to find policies to suit unusual and unique bikes, tailoring the prices and policies to the individual circumstances of the rider. That's why so many bikers choose Bikesure - in fact in some cases up to 75% of dealers' customers who are referred to Bikesure end up taking out a policy.

Which is good news for the dealer because each policy taken out is more money in the bank: the more referrals converted, the more commission received.

"We wanted to say 'thanks' to the dealers in our affiliate scheme," says Kevin Lee of Bikesure. "Moto GP is a fantastic event in the biking calendar so we thought it would be great to spend the weekend there with some of our loyal dealers!"

There will be a winner every month, from January to June 2010. The dealer who earns the most commission each month via their referrals will receive two VIP passes for the event. The tickets will provide them with a day in the Pit Lane Paddock Suite next to the BRDC and Paddock area, providing great hospitality and atmosphere before, during and after the race. The dealers will also be joined by another lucky dealer who will be randomly selected from the ticket competition Bikesure held on their stand at the Motorcycle Expo this year.

The winners of January's prize were Paul and Matt Bullock of Quadbikes in Peterborough. "We're really, really looking forward to the day," says Paul. "We do a lot of work with Bikesure because they're so easy to deal with. In fact, we use them as part of our marketing - we've put together an 'on the road' package for our customers, including insurance with Bikesure, and it's working really well."

Bikesure is 100% British owned and based. It has a huge range of specialist policies for the motorcycle enthusiast as well as schemes for trikes, quads and bug riders.
Bikesure warns of rise in pothole-related accidents

<img src="<%PATH_IMAGE%>news/posts/263-1.jpg" align="right" class="news" />
As bikers bring their motorcycles out of winter hibernation, specialist insurance broker Bikesure is issuing a stark warning about potholes.

"Even before the biking season really gets off the ground, we've seen a rise in pothole-related claims," says Kevin Lee of Bikesure. "Luckily so far we've had none with serious injuries, but it's a real possibility. A pothole can swallow a front wheel and throw a rider off instantly. We urge bikers to be very, very aware of the danger."

The winter weather that caused the potholes is clearing away, but the potholes themselves look like being here for a while, especially on some rural roads. Organisers of Spring biking tours throughout the country should take special care, suggests Kevin.

Bikesure offers these pothole awareness tips:

Puddles: don't assume they're benign, they could be rain-filled potholes hiding a nasty surprise.

On the edge: be aware that many potholes are created at the borders or edges of roads, where they can be disguised by plants, mud or debris.

Stay back: allow more space than usual behind the vehicle in front - it will give time to spot and avoid any potholes that cars or lorries simply drive over.

Slow down: riders who are not sure of the state of the road surface should take it more slowly than usual.

Get out of the rut: if the road a biker usually uses is full of potholes, find a different route.

Bikesure is 100% British owned and based. It has a huge range of specialist policies for the motorcycle enthusiast, including cheap bike insurance schemes for performance and custom bikes, scooters, trikes, quads and bug riders.
Big Bikesure giveaway at Motorcycle Trade Expo 2010

Visit the Bikesure stand for a chance to win for VIP tickets to British Moto GP 2010

<img src="<%PATH_IMAGE%>news/posts/255-1.jpg" align="right" class="news" />The Bikesure team, including the Bikesure Babes will be brightening up those dull January days when they visit the Motorcycle Trade Expo at the NEC, 24th-26th January 2010. While on the Bikesure stand The Babes will be running a competition that offers dealers the chance to win VIP tickets for The British Moto GP. These much sought-after tickets include entry to the private Paddock Suite and a slap-up meal - promising an unforgettable day out.

The Bikesure Babes are all experienced insurance executives from Bikesure, one of the UK's leading brokers for motorcycle insurance, or its parent company Adrian Flux Insurance Services. They, along with the Bikesure team, will also be signing up dealers onto Bikesure's Dealer Scheme, which includes the Bikesure affiliate network. The scheme links dealers' websites directly to the Bikesure site. If a customer takes out a quote after clicking through from a dealer's site then that dealer will receive £30 commission.

Dealers who are members of this scheme include Midland Superbikes, whose Operations Manager Stuart Fox says, "Bikesure are very competitive and the majority of our customers can get cover through them. We can sit a customer down at the computer screen in our showroom and let them sort out their cover online, right there and then."

During the summer months the Babes attend lots of dealer days around the country, adding a touch of pizzazz when they pose alongside some of the newest and most powerful motorbikes around. To make sure of not missing out, dealers should take along their diaries to check dates with the Babe's as their availability for 2010 is limited due to their growing popularity.

Bikesure is 100% British owned and based. It has a huge range of specialist policies for the motorcycle enthusiast, including cheap bike insurance schemes for performance and custom bikes, scooters, trikes, quads and bug riders.
Bikesure Makes PL Even Sweeter For Motorcycle Clubs

<img src="<%PATH_IMAGE%>news/posts/233-1.jpg" align="right" class="news" />
Motorcycle clubs need public liability insurance if they take part in public shows and events. It was a prohibitive expense for many clubs, until Bikesure launched its club public liability (PL) scheme earlier this year. It cut the cost to as little as £110 per year and has been very popular - so much so that Bikesure is now expanding it to cover 'business all risk'.

This means that as well as cover for public liability, the insurance protects the club's possessions at a show, ranging from merchandise such as T-shirts to stands, graphics and flags.

And the best news is, Bikesure PL still costs from as little as £110 per year, for up to £1million public liability cover and £2,500-worth of club assets.

Bikesure has a special team that looks after clubs and develops schemes for them. "Lots of our clubs take stands, graphics and club merchandise to shows," says Rob Balls of Bikesure. "Together they can add up to a lot of value but often they're not insured, so it made sense to expand Bikesure PL. It covers these assets against accidental loss or damage in just about any eventuality, from storms and floods to fire or falling trees. It also covers theft, other than from unattended motor vehicles."

Bikesure PL is available 'off the shelf' and is designed mainly for clubs who attend up to twelve events per year. For clubs that attend more events, or who require higher levels of public liability or asset cover, the Bikesure club team can prepare a tailored policy that should still be cheaper than a traditional scheme. It's cheaper because Bikesure has got rid of the PL elements that clubs don't need, such as libel and slander insurance.

"We originally developed the PL scheme for bike clubs that already have an association with Bikesure or our parent company, Adrian Flux Insurance Services," explains Rob Balls. "However, any clubs interested in finding out more should give us a call - our club team will be happy to help."

Bikesure is 100% British owned and based. For more information call the Bikesure club team on 01553 845585or visit www.bikesure.co.uk
